One of the main goals MEDIAPS
is the creation of a higher educational institution. Education
programs will be focused on graduation of the highly qualification
specialists, who will be highly skilled both in theory and
in practise, able to perform at a high level of research and
practical projects.
The motto of the Institute:
higher professional education, combining the best achievements
of modern education and the great tradition of old European
universities.
The aim of the institute is to provide students with an opportunity
to get higher, better educated than in most European universities.
This will allow graduates to achieve great success, to be
more competitive in the labour market. Primarily, this is
achieved through the use of modern teaching methods, an important
principle which is the focus on intensive study of the learning
subjects. The student must perform a large amount of independent
work.
A key component of this system is the individual approach
to each student to develop his creative abilities in the absence
of currently available at universities overload secondary
subjects of the educational process on the overall program
and rote learning.
However, the curriculum will be very full, it will require
a large amount of independent work, so students learn to solve
many problems in terms of time constraints. The ability to
not get lost in complex situations, solve complex problems,
conduct an independent investigation - all of this is very
important in business and management, whether public or private
sector.
Help the student to emerge as a personality - is one of the
great goals, great traditions, which came to us from ancient
European universities. This problem is solved as in the learning
process and outside it.
Very often, creative ability, leadership qualities be fostered
and developed outside the classroom - on playgrounds, in the
student theatre, in the publication of the student newspaper,
in the campaigns, etc. Therefore Institute will do its utmost
to support and assist students in organising sports activities,
student theatre organisation, in developing contacts with
other universities of Cyprus, Europe and other countries.
